It
has been a trend nowadays people talking about Nepal a lot in social media.
It’s good in a sense but what if it’s continuously negative? Is it good? Have
anyone noticed that it make difference to people who actually want to do
something for their country and need some powerful inspiration and positive way
of thinking? It’s really discouraging for starters! We all know well that Nepal
is going through hard times. Nature hits us hard, time and again and so does political
instability. I am not going to complain about how bad things are going. I just
want to let know that things can be seen the other way too.

Going
back to the trend: talking or writing negative about Nepal in media every time,
especially people living outside Nepal is really annoying. No offense though!
Yes, we know Nepalese living all around the world are concerned about their
country. But why not come and live here to make change at first place? My
question is, who do you think is going to address all your concerns, if you as a
responsible citizen ‘yourself’ don’t choose to live here in the country? Don’t
you feel of having equal responsibility for the state as the one you send
you’re complains to?
I am
not against people going abroad. It’s their life and their wish to dwell
wherever they wish to. Someday, I might be staying somewhere else away from the
country too. But the thing is why bother filling the whole media with so many
frustrations every day? Actually, who needs that? We don’t need anyone from
outside to tell us what’s happening here in the country. Doesn’t this make clear
sense?
All
the complaints people send from other countries- Isn’t it too much for the
people who really want to do something despite of all the negativity? Isn’t
it breaking people who have lived whole life believing one day we can make
change no matter what? Isn’t it holding back the energetic youths of this
generation who want to do something for their country? Isn’t it the insult to the expertise we
treasure; who holds life long experience, who actually had worked for the country
to bring it here today?
In
order to make real change, one generation really need to come forward to take
this responsibility. And I believe we’re that generation. And mind that we are here
to work for the country; not to -complain!
Rather
write about good things happening here. Learn to appreciate what has been done.
Encourage youngsters who really need some inspiration and motivation to get
started.
I
feel proud saying this that “we have real heroes who preferred to return their
own country over the grants they were provided to stay abroad”. We still have people
who think no matter where we wander the whole day we need to return our home at
the end of the day, because it’s our home and our mother needs us.
And
the sad part is very few realize this. Very few realize- what has been given to
us by the country for so long, must be paid back. This country brought us up
with so much of investment and we take it for granted. When it’s time to pay
back, we show our back in return and choose some other country to reside.
If
you are really concerned about the things here then why don’t YOU work for that?
Who do you think is going to work for your country? It’s our responsibility.
It’s every individual’s responsibility who is brought up by the state. Remember
it’s your responsibility too!
Again,
please don’t expect others to do it for your country. And stop giving lectures
on what can be done unless you start doing something for your country!
There
aren’t always people who find pleasure on complaining things about Nepal. There
are people who actually do things for Nepal residing abroad, who believe in
making changes though they are not living in the country. Hats off to these people
who don’t complain but give hands to nurture what has been planted with believe
that we’ll flourish someday.
So, Hey! If you’re residing outside the country please don’t
bother to write open letter or complaints about situation of Nepal. You’ll
never know what exactly people go through here in Nepal unless you’re living
here. It’s different than you imagine sitting there on your comfort zone. It
might be hard sometimes but we see good in things. We choose to see good things
happening every day. And we’re here to work for the country no matter what we
have to go through. But we always believe, “small things can make big
difference one day”. I am a proud girl saying, “I have true inspirations
in my country who believe to make Nepal a better country and actually works for
it and grows old with their dream- always dedicated.”
We
need hands to work not the mouths which speak much. I shouldn’t have written
this. I myself don’t want to complain about complainers. But sometime you can’t
just stay quiet and listen. Sometimes, you really need to stand and speak if
it’s wrong.
I believe
in my country. I believe in people who never complained about hard times. I
believe people who see good in things after what we have been through. I
believe people who dream for making country better. I believe people who always
have that big smile on their face though they lost their family members and
whatever they had. I believe in people who lived and worked here for ages
growing old and white. I am a believer. I am and I will always be working for
my country no matter where I will live. I will always believe the ones who
believed my country. I am always positive for the things happening here because
believing makes things much easier.
Just
imagining things around here in Nepal and exaggerating things do no good. Please
stop giving expert advice from abroad. I am always aware of this thing that, we
don’t lack expertise here in Nepal. In this regard, we’re always rich. We pose many
respected legends (I don’t even need to mention their name) who have dedicated
their life for the country. I appreciate their hard work and their life long
effort. They have shown us the path to follow. We’ll always be indebted to
whatever they have done for the country.
If
you really do care for the country or want to do something you’re always
invited to your country. Do come and visit sometime. I hope you understand! No
more complaints, PLEASE!
